Jruas uncrumpled his map and pointed somewhere on the map, "Have you been here?" Ellwindris looked over his shoulder and nodded, Jruas frowned and started looking again. "Ah, how about here?" His finger was on the hinterlands, Ellwindris nodded again. Jruas sighed a moment, "Okay, how about here? In the Whispering Forest." Ellwindris looked over Jruas shoulder again and smiled, "Never been there before." Jruas wrestled with the map as he tried to close it, of course it was always much harder folding the map up again once you undid it. Ellwindris watched as she laughed, it was truly a funny sight to see Jruas struggle closing the map.
'Here, let me help you." She was still giggling but after a few minutes they were able to fold the map up once again. Jruas turned to Ellwindris, "I'll lead the way, try and keep up." Jruas winked at Ellwindris then shifted into bird form, Ellwindris quickly followed behind him. It took a few hours but Ellwindris eventually found herself entering into Tirisifal Glades. She had found Silverpine Forest quite peaceful, a shame it was horde controlled. Ellwindris looked at Jruas, "So the Whispering Forest is in Tirisifal?" Jruas looked back at her and nodded, they quickly came over a clearing and started to dive.
Ellwindris noticed they were heading to a circle of mushrooms, where they landed in the middle. Ellwindris looked around amazed, "Wow, these are huge!" Jruas nodded, "What else do you see?" Ellwindris looked around for a few moments before blurting out, "More mushrooms!" Jruas chuckled, "And what else?" Ellwindris rubber her chin thoughtfully, "Well, the mushrooms are pulsating.." Jruas smiled, "Correct!" He had already started a fire, "Once the mushrooms start pulsating, faerie dragons will appear. Once they appear, they begin to dance in the light of the moon."
Ellwindris' eyes widened, "Woah, really?! I have got to see this." Ellwindris plopped right down next to Jruas by the fire, she turned and looked at him as he handed her some nectar and fresh cornbread. She nodded at him in thanks and took a large bite from the bread, downing it with some of the sweet nectar. Ellwindris blushed a little, realizing that this place was quite romantic which was quickly followed by a smirk. He specifically took me here. Whose the sly one now, Shan'do? She quickly finished the cornbread just as a light drizzle began. Ellwindris held out her hand, letting the rain catch in her palm.
Ellwindris blinked, "Oh, I almost forgot! I have a little gift for you!" Jruas looked surprised as Ellwindris got up and went into the middle facing him. Ellwindris winked at him, "I hope you like them." Ellwindris shot in rapid succession, fireworks that burst in the air into a purple a flower, sparks dancing across the night sky. Jruas smiled, "That was amazing! Did you make them yourself?" Ellwindris rubbed the back of her head, "No, if I did then they probably would have blown up in my face." Jruas chuckled, then started shivering a bit despite being next to a fire.
Ellwindris quickly walked over to him and sat by him, he hooked his arm around her and pulled her closer. Ellwindris blushed a bit as he laid his head on her shoulder. The shivering next to a fire move, old fashioned but clever! Ellwindris smiled and rested her head on his, they sat together by the fire as the rain continued to fall. Much time passed as they sat together, Ellwindris smiled, "I'm starting to think there never was any faerie dragons to begin with." Jruas chuckled gently, "Trust me, there are." Ellwindris pondered a moment, "I hope the others do not think we are doing any questionable acts when we leave together."
Jruas frowned a bit, "I do not care what the others think of us. Besides, I believe they have full trust in us and that we wouldn't do anything along those lines." Ellwindris nodded and closed her eyes. Much time went by and still no faerie dragons, "You want to go join the others?" Jruas nodded slowly, "Yeah, it appears our faerie friends will not do a little dance for us tonight. We will have to come back here another time." Ellwindris stood up and stretched then helped Jruas to his feet, "Race you back!" Ellwindris winked at him then quickly shifted to a bird, Jruas quickly followed her on her heels and made their way back to the stronghold.
