"If you decide to do any RP involving healing injuries or illness, take it slow. It's easy to just be like 'so and so heals the wound using the Light,' and be done, because that's basically what in-game mechanics do. But that's pretty boring, and it doesn't allow people to really have fun with it! I suggest doing a /roll 1-20 (with 20 being a perfect heal, and 1 being a crit fail) whenever you're healing and figuring out how well it works from that, at first. Having it take a while or need multiple sessions can also help make the RP more enjoyable. And don't forget having the characters talk, assuming one isn't unconscious, while they're healed!
This is something I struggled with for a long time, because a lot of people just want the injury healed quickly so they can have their character get back to doing other things. I ended up having to whisper people beforehand and ask which they wanted, because I needed to know if this was an RP for both of us or if I was just a mechanic to get them back to RPing with other people"
